| Technician responsible for the preparation and the analyses of organic samples for compound specific 37Cl and inorganic samples for 37Cl isotopes. Preparation and analyses of 81Br and also responsible for 87Sr isotope analysis. The operation and maintenance of different gas chromatographic systems and CF-Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometers. Analyzing various compounds for compound specific hydrogen using the IsoPrime-CF-IRMS-GC system. Develops new analytical techniques for isotopes. Supervises and teaches analytical techniques to graduate students. Orfan has been with the lab since 1996.
